Nollywood Star, Bob Manuel Udokwu. Nigerian Movies Industry (Nollywood) is blessed with many vigorous actors and Bob happens to be one of them, one thing I’ve noticed about Nollywood scenes is that most of the male characters tend to look more physically intimidating in real life than in many of the movie scenes… or maybe it’s just my perception. The sight of Charming Bob Maneul Udokwu walking majestically, full of confidence is a joy to behold, it’s a look and aura that many people tend to identify him as a ‘gentle giant’. Early Life Bob Manuel and his happy family. Bob Manuel Udokwu was born to a popular Udokwu family of Nkwelle-Ogidi in Idemmili North Lacal Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. he was born on April 18th in the late 1960s at Enugu, Enugu State to the family of Mr Geoffrey Nwafor Udokwu (father) and Mrs Ezelagbo Udokwu (mother). He is the Fourth Child and the second son in the family of six with three males and three females. He attended his primary school education at St. Peters Primary School (now Hillside Primary School) in the Coal Camp, Enugu, Enugu State and his Secondary school education at Oraukwu Grammar School, Oraukwu, from where I proceeded to University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he obtained a Certificate and Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts. He equally bagged a Master’s degree in Political Science with specialisation in International Relations from the University of Lagos, Lagos State. He is married to Cassandra his sweetheart and they have two children. He named his son after the great Marcus Garvey. Movies and Entertainment Bob is among the current crop of Nollywood actors/actress that were part of the great movie – Livin in Bondage, a Movie that opened the door to a greater feat of Nollywood, he played the role of Mike who is a member of the secrete cult Andy (Kenneth Okonkwo) was introduced to. The Flamboyant actor is from Ogidi, the same town with another known Nollywood actor, Obi Madubogwu.Both of them were very active in the 1990s, the resurgent years of Nollywood.
